FinCEN beneficial ownership — current rule

BOI reporting for currently eligible companies

Under current FinCEN guidance, most domestic U.S.-created entities are exempt from beneficial ownership reporting. DocBiz preserves historical BOI records but does not sell obsolete domestic filings. This intake is only for companies that remain eligible, typically certain foreign reporting companies. Confirm current rules at fincen.gov/boi. Official submission, when required, is at FinCEN BOI E-Filing.
